Organic Bitter Gourd (Karela)
Also known as Karela, bitter gourd has a distinctive crunchy texture and flesh making it an ideal choice for stir-fried dishes!
1 kg of bitter gourd contains approximately 6 to 7 pieces. However, the size and weight of the organic produce coming from the farm may vary slightly.
Cooking Tip:
De-seed bitter gourd and rub salt, chilli powder and turmeric on it after letting it stay in salt water to remove the bitterness.
Storage Tip:
Store the whole bitter gourd wrapped in a paper bag or reusable pouches and keep it in the refrigerator. This will retain its freshness for up to 3 to 4 days. Make sure that you thoroughly wash it with warm water before use.
