Organic Broccoli
Origin:
Broccoli was first cultivated in Ancient Italy and later was introduced in England and America in the 1700s.
Enjoy our juicy tender broccoli roasted, stir-fried, or simply steamed. Makes a great snack or side to your meal - simply drizzle with olive oil and a squeeze of lemon, then finish with a scrunch of pepper and salt.
Cooking Tip:
Don’t miss out on the stalk – it’s sweet and full of goodness. Cut it into batons and it’ll take just a few minutes to cook - and can also be added into your vegetable stock.
1 kg of Broccoli contains approximately 4 to 6 pieces. However, the size and weight of the organic produce coming from the farm may vary slightly.
Storage Tip:
Broccoli lasts for 2-3 days if stored in the refridgerator, wrapped loosely in paper towels. To make them last longer, cut them into pieces, blanch and freeze them.
