Rice Bran Oil
- Cold-Pressed, Vitamin E, Source of Good Fats
Rice bran oil is extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice called chaff (rice husk). Famous for its mild flavor, it is suitable for high-temperature cooking methods such as stir frying and deep frying. It has a nutty, earthy flavor similar to that of peanut oil. You can use the oil for stir-fries, soups, dressings, and vinaigrettes. It’s also easy to add to hot cereals like oatmeal.
Storage Tip:
Rice Bran Oil can be kept in an air-tight bottle at normal room temperature. However, make sure that it is kept away from the gas stove.
